Jae K. Kwon

Jae Kwon is an accomplished attorney with 15 years of experience, both as an Assistant State’s Attorney and in private practice. He has extensive litigation experience, conducting over 100 trials to verdict.

Prior to joining Anderson Attorneys & Advisors, Jae was an Assistant State’s Attorney at the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office for approximately 12 years where he worked closely with Audriana Anderson. There he prosecuted numerous high-profile felony cases including narcotics trafficking, aggravated arson, drug induced homicide, criminal sexual assault and first-degree murder. In addition, he has conducted hundreds of contested hearings. Jae was a frequent lecturer for both attorneys and law enforcement officers in topics such as the Fourth Amendment Search and Seizures as well as Juvenile Law and Practice.

Prior to joining the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office, Jae was an associate attorney with Ninh Ma, Ltd. and Shaw Legal Services, representing clients in both State and Federal Court in the area of real estate, bankruptcy and personal injury. Jae is fluent in Korean, active in the Korean community and is passionate about helping his clients in criminal defense and civil litigation matters. Jae Kwon also serves as Advisory Counsel to the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Chicago.
