In addition to managing the law practice, Greg Walstra is a forward-thinking finance executive with over 15 years of experience and a proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability. Greg has demonstrated expertise in both privately held and private equity-backed businesses to navigate senior leadership through complex scenarios.
Greg has the acuity to design financial systems and controls for small to medium business enterprises that effectively integrate reporting, budgeting, and planning to optimize value and foster growth.
Greg brings his experience and business acumen to lead the business advisory part of the firm. He has a passion to work with startup enterprises and service businesses with less than 25MM of revenue and improve processes, grow profitability, manage risk and prepare for acquisition or generational transition.
A key area of career success for Greg is that he is not an isolated "numbers" guy. His peers have understood that he is keenly aware of the operational side of business. Greg's analysis is understandable and his counsel is actionable.
Greg has particular knowledge in the solid waste industry, construction & demolition recycling and certification, mergers and acquisitions of service businesses, private equity, and collective bargaining, as well as working with high net worth families and high value tangible assets.
